First person command view

Greetings,

Lately I have been trying to play from the view of the commander in "Follow" mode as much as possible, but get distracted with having to constantly adjust the elevation when my horse and staff walk down hills, as the viewpoint wants to stay at the elevation of the peak of the previous hill.

Is there a way I can lock the view not just to follow, but to keep the eyepoint level close to where my commander's head is?

I am, as always, your most humble and obedient servant,
S. Boland

lol

Whippy,

Try this setting for the camera hight, in C:\NorbSoftDev\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Work\SOWG.ini (configeration settings) under Custom heading, change 10 to 2 in both plyrradius and MPplyrradius.

Save the settings. Remember to keep a copy of the original, just in case.

Mine are set to:

[Custom]
ailvl=0
moralelvl=0
regstrength=100
plyrradius=2
courierlvl=4
minimap=4
MPplyrradius=2
MPcourierlvl=4
MPminimap=4

When playing the game it lets you set the Custom settings (On the first Options page). Now set it to 2.

Now no need to use the FOLLOW (F) function.

:)
