Hello all. Newbie here.

Was a past owner of the original Manassas series and have just purchased Gettysburg. Great game!!

Was wondering what frames per second should the game be running at?

Thanks in advance.

No set answer here since FPS rates change constantly throughout battles, and of course smaller battles get better FPS rates. Personally I consider anything under 6 FPS as 'becoming unplayable' and anything above 10 FPS as 'good rates'. All SOW scenarios are tested as playable, however large Sandbox battles can stress performance beyond playability. You just have to test your computer's limits, some modern rigs handle SOW better than others.

Thank you for the welcome and the reply to my question, RebBugler. I was pulling my hair out trying to achieve 60fps

Really enjoying the game and looking forward to being skillful enough to have a go at multiplayer. I regret not purchasing the 150th Anniversary Collection

Am excited for Waterloo and hope it will be released soon.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

Just picked up Chancellorsville and Antietam, and wondering why I'm getting double the FPS in Chancellorsville than in Gettysburg? Haven't had a go with Antietam yet.

*update* Saw a YouTube video that explained the Chancellorsville map graphics were worked on which gives the better FPS.
