I have been working on making building Terrain sprites for maps in lightwave. My question is how many camera angles would you use for a sprite such as a house.I know for like trees it says to use one in the SDK.I was wondering if you would use 16 like for the animated sprites or if you could get by using less camera angles.

As far as I know there are not that many people on the forum that would have any idea about making houses and such.
I think that
Louie Raider made the houses for the default game.
The latest ones came from the
Chancellorsville .dat file, and they are very detailed.
I would suggest that you look at how those were done, and how many angles it took to make them, this would provide a hint as to what needs to be applied.

Sorry, I missed the part about the sixteen-angles for the sprites question.
The sixteen angles has to do with the direction of the compass \ camera I think, so if you use less than sixteen the sprites will probably disappear or appear flat when rotating the camera.

Stupid me i'm not sure how i missed it in the SDK. It says to use 6 or 8 frames for Animated Terrain Sprites.

The Houses are 3d models and not sprites. They have to be made and textured in 3DS Max.
