Nobody knows, various people count it from different times; when Napoleon left Elba; when he landed in France; when Ney joined his army on the march north; when he entered Paris... Then when did it end? After Waterloo? When the Prussians reached Paris? When Napoleon abdicated?

None of these start/end point combinations are 100 days in length; clearly "100 days" is just a neat convenient sexy number people know this campaign by, it was not 100 days long, a bit like the 100 Years War wasn't 100 years ;)
