Looking Forward to Waterloo! Some Questions...

I've just come across news that Waterloo is at the Release Candidate stage. So glad to see that it may be closer than I thought! I know things can change, but should we assume that the game is weeks rather than months away?

I'd love to know more about what's new. Obviously Napoleonic units are different from ACW units, but can you tell us more about how the game will model these differences? What improvements (interface, AI, behavior, etc.) should we get excited about?

Good luck! Here's hoping it's not really 100 days...

I can't go into too much detail here, but basically it's a whole new game with many new features. Yes it will have it's similarities to previous SOW games because afterall, it's still a Scourge of War game. But the engine, GUI, gameplay, etc. has been completely redesigned to better fit Napoleonic warfare.

Really looking forward to release.

Q. Will sprites and maps used in SOW and it's mods be compatable with the new game?
If so, will there be major adaptations necessary?

Can't answer that question because we've done no testing regarding mod compatibility between games. Once released I'm sure you guys, and I ;) , will be experimenting with finding areas of compatibility.

BTW, your portraits are excellent!

Thank You, RebB

I'm sure you are right and a flurry of activity will ensue, no doubt.

Glad you like the portraits, too. Its an honour.

Good luck, guys
