Cold Harbor Map - Released

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Cold Harbor Map - Released

Post by Little Powell »

Name: Cold Harbor
Author: Mark S. Tewes

Note: This screenshot was taken using the GCM Terrain mod. It is recommended that this mod is enabled along with the map. You can download it here: www.norbsoftdev.net/forum/modifications ... -mod#54639

IMPORTANT: This map requires The Anniversary edition, or Antietam to work correctly. The map will still run fine without it, but you will get an error on load and you will be missing some buildings.

Awesome! Thanks!

Does it fit the Gaines Mill battlefield too?

Sorry. I suffer from a serious case of typosis. Don't worry, it's not contagious :)

Great battle fields, love the sloping hills and valleys.

Ah you're right, not sure why the OOB isn't there. I'll have to look into it.

As you know, you can match any map to any OOB, it's just a Lee/Grant thing I have.....wishing for a Wilderness OOB.

First off, splendid work! This and the Mannassas map is most excellent fun!

I do have a question though I suspect the answer will be related to me being a dunce.

I'm using the Courier and Maps mod that MTG made (also ace by the way) though I'm using the large version. Is that why the maps on this and Bull Run are not fitting in on the map screen at all? Is there a way to sort that out or should I just switch to the small one?

Any help is appreciated, even if it's to tell me I'm doing everything wrong. :D

The easy fix for that is to use the Small Couriers and Maps mod. MTG would need to make a large version of the minimap for it to work in the Large mod version.
HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.
