Progress Report

Post by Amish John »

Any chance for a progress report?
What areas are done?
What are you working on now?
How's the beta testing going?
AI progress/improvements
New features being planned over and above TC2M
Basically, whatever you can tell us to give us an idea where you are with the game development.
For those people who don't regularly visit the forum, this might be a good article to post on both web sites.

You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

I can tell you that I have been working on the artillery, it seems to have grown into my project, just as JC has ridden off with the Cavalry.:) The artillery is pretty good at the moment but there are some tweaks/functions that I would like to see done, but we will have to see when we get closer. At the moment we(testers) are working on a morale/retreating issue.

That's what I am working on, I am sure some of the other guys will chime in shortly.

I've been doing a lot of map testing/verifying/authenticating, whatever you want to call it, and lately I've also been heavily testing the morale/retreating issue. At the same time, keeping an eye out for any bugs or things missing in the tool bar.

There's still a lot of work to do, but we are dedicated to make this game absolutely awesome, and I think it will be. :)

JC,

Seem to remember reading somewhere that the last time that happened things didn't work out so well for the boys in gray.

Keep up the good work!!

I got cut off in TC2M doing that once I finally broke out with only 1/3 of my cavalry left. Horses and troopers all over that little pocket.

Not my specialty - Artillery for me - nothing better than the thought of infantry supported guns spraying cannister!
