How do I get a selected corps commander to have all his subordinate units follow him on the corps attack I ordered? He always go solo and his divisions won't follow. I read the manual and played the tutorial, there is something obvious I'm missing. Do I have to manually select every single unit in the corps and give everyone individual orders?

The issue is that you always need to give a formation order after a movement order to get your troops to follow the general. This applies 100% for brigade, batteries, divisions but Corps commanders do not have a formation because this would be too unwieldy.
So you give them a stance and a target, i.e. Ney - all out attack - the allied ridge, and let him move his own troops as required and coordinate the attack - or you TC him and move his three divisions yourself if you prefer micromanagement.

Still no go for me, I give my orders through the courier click send message and only the corps commander moves. It must be something simple, but I can't find it in the manual. I select D'erlon from courier list compose my orders from available choices and order an all out attack on destination la haye saint, send the message and only he moves, no attack.

If this a scenario make sure the officers are not TC on.

Reb is correct - some scenarios start with officers AI turned off (we call this TC on) so check for this. Alternatively - a stance (all out attack, hold to the last) order is not implemented immediately. You have told that AI general to attack the location - he will issue the orders when he is ready, depending on his traits, aggressive, cautious, etc.

I tried with the TC flag on and off, I then turned off the TC flags all down D'erlon's entire OOBs chain of command and he's still goes solo charlie and never sends any couriers off to his sub commanders. I'm last French scenario the full battle of waterloo. Should the toolbar flag for D'erlon be highlighted or not? but even with his flag in the toolbar not highlighted all his subordinates flags are still highlighted. I want to give my corps commanders orders to attack with their corps.

I think I know the problem the courier system is not working in scen 10 French. Napoleon and d'Erlon will not send out any couriers, it must be a bug.
