What are the largest number of infantry, cavalry and artillery units that can be put into a level 4 formation?

Let this one slide because I thought Jim would reply with an absolute.

I've modded some rather large ones with large subunits and have never reached a limit. The only limit I'd guess would be with map size, as much of a division formation that you could crowd on it.

If there is a limit, I don't know what it is. In GB there were division formations with 20 or so component units. Guess you will just have to try out your idea and see if it crashes or not. I would try adding 5 units at a time and see how each iteration works.

Thanks. Some divisions can have quite a bit of arty attached. I never had a problem in the old game and wanted to know it that had changed.
