Looking into picking up Waterloo. Have a few questions about the sandbox campaign:

Do river crossings impact movement or combat at all from the campaign map?
Is there attrition/stragglers from marching groups around?
Will things like supply lines/reinforcements be patched in? Or is that going to come in a later module?

For the moment no

Is there attrition/stragglers from marching groups around?

The movement has a impact on the troops fatigue, which they recover only resting in a town

Will things like supply lines/reinforcements be patched in? Or is that going to come in a later module?

Yes they are in the plans, in patches; modules cannot generate difference in the engine code between the base game and them but add new items.
