Are we there yet?

Post by Meach »

My questions.

1) Can we buy GB off the website direct? I want max profits to go to Norb so he can develop more, pay more staff and keep me happy in the long run :)

2) How much will GB cost? I am guessing £30? I will need two copies, one for me and one for the wife.

3) Will maps be able to be made by average Joe Blogg's without degrees in calculus and particle physics?

4) When will it be ready?

5) Will we be able to import OOB's from TC2M or maps from TC2M?

6) Will "Brunettes and Breastwork" be an integral part of troop morale? :)

If anyone can shed some light I would be grateful.

Chris.

1. Norb is looking at all options on how to distribute the game.
2. Has not been decided.
3. Maps will not be available until NSD is done with all expansions.
4. Sometime in 2009, hopefully.
5. I believe Norb said it might be possible.
6. Breastworks are in the game, but not sure how much it affects troop morale.

The TC2M maps will not run under the GB engine, we have moved up a level in the basic graphics engine which renders the old maps incompatible. The format for OOBs has changed quite significantly from TC2M so while those oobs could be used to provide a basis to create a GB format oob file, they will not load or even be recognized as a valid oob file.

Thank you both for the replies. I am becoming more and more keen to try this product. The fresh start for OOB's and Maps could be a very good thing as it will probly add depth in the long run.
