OOB help requested

Here is what I would like to do: A friend and I play cooperative MP, always taking the Union forces, three divisions each. The scenario we are using is found in the Peninsular Campaign list of scenarios--"Glendale, Jackson What If.

We would like to be able to add a couple of brigades to each of our corps. I downloaded the SDK, but it looks beyond my poor power to comprehend. I thought I remembered some post a while back that talked about a program that would let you load your OOB in Excel and then just drop in any units you wish.

Is that possible, or am I just dreaming? Just one or two brigades added to each of our corps is all we want. Any easy way to do it?

Hi, Sorry no-one got back to you. Leffe7's Scenario Generator might be what you need. The advantage of it is it creates random OOBs so you never quite know what the enemy will have. The downside of that is you may not get the exact balance of forces you want. I personally don't use it, preferring to edit OOBs manually, but I am sure it also lets you have control over what brigades and divisions you can use.

I also opt to adapt OOBs manually for specific scenario play, here's a post that explains the procedure that I use:

I suggest that you build Master Scenario.csv files from the OOBs that you use. Then it's just a matter of copy-paste from the masters to the scenario you're playing, and also adjusting the CoC numbering for the new entries.
