Scourge of War Boards

Back again! OK, B&FXV loaded, playing 3d carryover, on Day 2, game frequently crashes; if I save every few minutes I can reboot to the last save, but it keeps crashing every 5-10 min. Got through Day 1 with no problem (might have crashed once or twice).

Do I recall reading that this might have something to do with a resolution issue?

Any advice appreciated. I've got a nice line from Culps to the burning buildings, and am awaiting the onslaught!

Sorry to hear this, thought we had you fixed. Have you checked the log file, any errors? Post it like before and I'll have a look. I remember you've got Win 8, that's the only issue I can think of off hand.

Glad you know to have the auto save on, I keep mine on 2 minutes.

BTW, how powerful of a rig do you have, CPU, cores, and RAM? Also, is your graphics card meeting minimum requirements of 512 RAM? This is a BIG battle at the point you are playing now, some rigs just get maxed out.

Just ran my day 2 carryover for 45 minutes, no errors or crash. Try it out and see if it works for you.
Unzip and copy it to:...\SOWGB\Work\Saved Games\Cont (rename your same named version first)
Although this says day 1, you will select your day 2 in User Scenarios, this is the continuation/carryover to day 2.
