Scourge of War Boards

How does the game deal with soldiers in buildings. I put 1000 people in the Plancenoit church, full to capacity, and the prussian infantry just stood outside and shot them all to pieces. there was like a 3:1 casualty rate in their favor. Why is that? is it because I put so many in there that they clogged all the holes and made too big of a target?

The building should give a substantial defense bonus if undamaged but the bonus decreases as the damage increases. How many Prussians did you have outside firing in?

we had 3 separate attacks. But it must have been the damage thing that did it. I didn't know buildings get damaged
