Problem with Sandbox

No matter which map or OOB I choose to use in a sandbox battle the game always ignores my selection. I have turned off all mods and tried different option settings (line of sight, hunt them down etc) ...I can't figure it out .... any ideas?

Thanks ...

Define "selection"? What is desired and what are you getting?

Is at least the map you selected correct? If so, make sure the level selected/highlighted corresponds with the levels on the right: i.e.; division level selected on the left, division vs division selected on the right.

Somehow it always defaults to the Waterloo PM map (or as far as I can figure) and always to G Jonhstone as Commander regardless of my OOB selection ....

Just tried again and chose Treskow from the SB Waterloo Campaign All Brigades as my Commander using the Nord-Sud map.... Treskow became Johnstone on the Waterloo PM map.

The game version is up to date.

I've been a user since TC2M ....

Sandbox can be modded to play the same setup every time. Are you sure all your mods are off?

Other than this, I'm out of possible causes for this issue.

One more thing, make sure the SowWL folder is installed in Documents and all these folders align as so:
...\Documents\SowWL\Scenarios\SandBox

That did it ... I moved the Sandbox folder from the Scenario Folder and tried again .... all is fine as it seems that a new and presumably clean Sandbox folder was recreated when I started a new game .... or so it seems.

Many thanks .... and I don't know how things got corrupted.

Should Sandbox be played with Mods off that you are not using? I've been playing all on?

Yes, always turn off a mod you don't want to use, turning it on means it is in use and if two incompatible mods are running you'll have problems or see odd behaviour.
