Norb,

Which aspects of the design are the farthest along and which have the farthest to go? Hope you're coding on your deck or patio today with the nice weather (at least here in Reading, PA).

The farthest along is the unit art. They are done. We just have to test and fix bugs. The art team is now working on screens & toolbars.

Currently I am working on new features in the engine and fixing bugs that I created in the rewrite. ADukes is our community rep, so he knows what people want. So we are going through a priority list and trying to get stuff in the engine.

The Design Team is working on a final map and scenario list.

Sometimes I really miss those days working at home full time. I need something that allows a mix of the office and home. I'm currently stuck in a room with no windows. It could be snowing outside for all that I would know. I envy you, but at least the days are long and I'll have some time outside tonight.

Thanks for the update. It's nice to get a general overview of the progress. I too am in an office, but luckily I have a couple windows to see the outside world (when I have time to look out the windows). Code away, muchacho.

Have you and the team members spent much time walking the fields of the battlefield to be portrayed in the game? Nothing like a lot of feet on the ground time to really get an understanding of how the terrain should look from a soldier's viewpoint.
