Scourge of War Boards

One of the most exciting games we've had in a while yesterday.

Contact, attack, counter-attack, retreat, reform, rest, counter-attack, drive them back.

The union won by less than 30 points. Heck of a good fight. We were all sweating bullets.

It doesn't get any closer. I thought we Rebs had won it having the edge in both objectives and (as it turned out) in casualties. We even shot off a couple more guns than did the Yanks. VP value was low but more than minimal at 10%. We had to have lost it in regiments routed/captured.

Huge lesson here to get regiments out of the fight as they approach the rout line. Many, if not most, players tend to over-fight their formations.

But a terrific fight. Congrats to the Union. Think Razor required CPR and IV fluids after this one.
