Scourge of War Boards

Hi,

I have tried to create an account in the multiplayer tab using mitra's guide, however every name I put in I get a message telling me "that name is already taken. Please type in another name and try again". I checked the Matrix Forums and saw that mitra had responded to a guy having a similar issue, telling him that it does not accept names over 8 characters. I cut it down to 7 all the way down to 3 characters, however I still get the same message.

Is this a known issue or is something else going on?

I would love to resolve this as I have been wanting to try a MP battle with people using HITS.

I got it working. This is now a non-issue.

you'll probably find that most MP games use the direct connection method rather than the lobby system as it is a more reliable way to get the game going.

Ostwindflak, you are very welcome to drop by the KS group for some MP. We play HITS exclusively, as well as couriers for all comms. We have games most days at 20:00 BST, 15:00 EST, 21:00 CET. There is a link in my sig.

If you are in the USA, and that early start time doesn't suit you, there are a few people that play later in the day over there occasionally; we have a sub-forum for US-based games.
