Hi,
For me the same, need 10 or 15 minutes more .
Playing in the saddle with camera 20 meters max from me, difficulty normal and courrier at division level.
My better score, trying my best, for the moment was passing by the left of the castle and crossing the river.
The cavalry push back the prussian artillery. Prussians are at my rignt then I let the 'General Petit" guard brigade doing the work with a probe stance, he turn right and start his attack on the prussians squares ( thanks to the horseman of General Jamin).... I only TC of my two battery trying to advance on the objective on alternate move of the battery, always keeping one firing. trying to always have the good range for canister and stay close of the battery's officers in order to make order going as fast as possible.
It's hard.....but very funny and very " immersive " in fact that's what i'm looking for.....
Hi Wagner jr. In the time since I originally made the first post in this thread I have managed achieve a major victory in this scenario(though not playing HITS, god speed on that lol)
Essentially I used the same strategy. I bypassed having to work my way through Gerards corps by moving around the left side of Ligny castle and hitting the Prussian right. From there you just have to attack at an insane level of recklessness. You have to push mercilessly for the objective as fast as you can and charge everything in your path to get there, losses be damned. Fortunately you command the imperial guard, crack troops if ever there were, and they will pretty much charge like maniacs if you order them to. You really have to make it to the objective within the first 20 minutes of the scenario and then camp on it in order to extract enough points from it. Once you get there bring your artillery up and set them up somewhere with a good field of fire. They can really help add to your point totals, because sometimes the objective alone is just not enough.
