Obnoxious Sword Crossing Sound

Ok I am honestly not trying to ruffle any feathers here as I love Scourge of War games and own everything you guys have made but whoever thought that the obnoxious, ear cracking sounds of those swords hitting and crossing was a good idea I really need to understand why.
There has to be a way to remove this sound completely from this game, some how some way.
I had a mod that someone was nice enough to make that seemed to get rid of the sound before but it does not seem to work now for some reason.
Is there a way that I can make sure that sound is gone from the game? It is extremely obnoxious and I actually cringe when I know its coming because it honestly hurts my ears.
Just explain how to do it and I will be glad to do it myself if there is a way.
