My understanding is that with the release of Wavre there will be a patch as well. Will this just be bug fixes or is it worth the community requesting any changes to existing game code or additional features?

Thinking about Wavre I will be interested to see what OOB is used for Thielmann's III Corps. Mark Adkins Waterloo Companion effectively gives the campaign starting force of 25k as being at Wavre. Peter Hofschroer lists about 2,000 losses at Ligny for III Corps but probablty the best source is Von Clausewitz who was actually the Chief of Staff for III Corps and he has only about 15,000 available in III corps to defend Wavre and the Dyle. He does mention that 6 Battalions out of 9 from III Corps' 8th Brigade were meant to be in reserve behind Wavre but had marched off in error after the troops going to Waterloo. This means we have to account for about another 7k missing from the starting force.
Hofschroer may be correct with his losses on 15/16 June at about 2,000 but he also mentions that substantial numbers of III Corps deserted towards Liege. In fact III Corps had the highest proportion of Landwehr and they were on the Liege side of the battlefield so it is quite probable that the Corps did lose 4-5k more to desertion.
That gave Grouchy an advantage of more than 2 - 1 although there was a small detachment from another Prussian Corps at Limale.
Regards
Mike
