After the intro I found it boring. Battles are not huge scrums between armies of ants, each man doing what he wants. Battles are organised affairs between command structures with forces comprised of units. Now fix several hundred men into each unit and have the AI path the units in accordance with a battle plan, and you'd have something.

Well, yes but I'd say that this is a huge advancement nonetheless in path finding. Eventually I'm sure more developments will come in the form of sprites forming units.
Apparently this guy is working on 100,000K units now.
