Recoloring uniforms aspects ?

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Cleaburn - How is everything going!

There is only a very small group of Modders that have the ability to add of change the uniforms in the game.

The only ones that come to mind are , "Tim", "Bedbug", "Pom" and "Gunship" sorry if I missed anyone else.

Basically to do it by hand is extremely time consuming, which is probably why no one attempts it.

Something as simple as changing the color of a hat requires at least 800 too 1000 edits. It is that many sprites that have to be changed.

The names listed above use a (Special - type - of - Program) to do most of the editing when creating a uniform, but each uniform still requires them to spend quite a bit of time setting things up.

Hand editing is just not the best or the fastest way of changing the uniforms.

Hi Cleaburn.

Here's a taster of some of the new sprites I'm doing for mods by Martin James and Crikey. These mods will also include new maps by Crikey and Mart.T. And as we discussed I hope to do some of the units on your wish list.
