Sounds about right, you'll be notified by a message announcing the end of Day one followed by a night sequence. Same for the end of Day two. The game times have nothing to do with battle times, they just indicate how long the scenario's been running. Courier messages give you the historic timings of the day's progress.

The game is scaled down so 30 minutes of gameplay represents approximately 60 minutes of real time. Furthermore, head to head battles between the same troops rarely survive more than an hour of play because of attrition rates. Fighting units don't recognize the concept of 'Doom', they'll fight on to oblivion without scripting interventions.

At the end of day one I got what appears to be a victory marker for Cemetery Hill. Are there any territorial objectives now built into the scenario?

There are no objectives in these scenarios that award points. The objectives that appear on the mini map are either fatigue and morale recuperation objectives only appearing during the night cycles, or trigger objectives that when activated govern enemy AI stances and movements.

I figured it was based on game mechanics or the limits involved. Thanks for all the replies, and thanks for a great mod.

Hey RebBugler/guys--
I haven't been by the board in ages but didn't even notice this Gettysburg 3 Days mod when I did. How did I miss it? Wow... Happy New Year by the way! So I got it downloaded fine, just dragged and dropped it in the Mod folder which is easier than modding in TC2M. However after it loads it crashes. I did look through the logfile--here it is:

So it's fairly obvious that what's causing it is the GFX_SB_Grass1 file is missing. How would I go about finding that file? Thanks in advance for your help sir! I used to love playing the 3 Days in 8 hours scenario in TC2M so this looks great! -MarcusC2

Thanks so much for the quick reply, sorry it took so long to get back to you. Thought I'd get a prompt when you replied. Anyway, thanks for the zip file! So I initially just added the entire Terrain Additions file to the Mods file of the Main SOW file. I tried it but it didn't work so I put the "Packed" file with the BS file and the BS plist file in the Graphics file and the gfxpack in the Logistics file of the GB 3Days. I didn't really see anywhere that was logical to add the csv files copy and paste so thought the gfxpack would go there. So I'm still having the game crash when it says "Planting Shrubbery". Should the gfxfile go somewhere else? Sorry about the dumb questions, SOW is a bit different than TC2M so I'm probably doing something wrong. Appreciate your help sir, what do I need to do differently to get the mod to work? -MarcusC
