In Sid Meir's Gettysburg/Antietam, there is a nice feature that shows a simple and sped up replay of the battle you just fought. The regiments show up as simple colored blocks. Does anyone know of a video online showing this feature?
Alternately if you have SMG/A and Fraps, could you generate a short video of the replay function in action.
Thanks for the help.

Don't know the answer to your question, though I would assume FRAPS could do the trick...?
On another note:
How cool would it be to have a similar feature in Gettysburg?!
What about it, NSD - will we get a playback-feature like Sid Meier's?

Great.
I downloaded the Antietam Demo and fraps don't seem to work on that; maybe you can get it cranked up in the full install.
I think you'll at least have to change the action button from F9 to something else.

I'm not sure if you are refering to this.In Sid Meir's Gettysburg/Antietam, there is a nice feature that shows a simple and sped up replay of the battle you just fought. The regiments show up as simple colored blocks. Does anyone know of a video online showing this feature?
TravelBrains http://travelbrains.com/Destinations/Ge ... rgExp.html has an Expedetion Guide on the battle of Gettysburg. On the computer CD_ROM which comes with the guide is a interactive map of the battle showing each unit as a block or rectangle. As you play the map it shows the movements and fighting of the battle. This link should show you a demo: http://travelbrains.com/shockhtml/Pickett.html
Is this sort or feature what you are talking about?
I also recommend buying these if you plan on visiting any of the battlefields that they offer.
