I am localizing the OOB of SOWWL.
When I translating the 'Army of Low Countries' OOB,I found "1/I/2e Regiment Lichte infanterie Nassau-Usingen"and I do not know how to translate this.

Can someone explain the meaning of 1/I/2e Regiment for me?

BTW,I also have problem with KGL:
The file uses same names in different compilations:
<Tag name="OOB_Br_Christian_von_Ompteda">Oberst Baron Christian Friedrich Wilhelm von Ompteda </Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_Christian_von_Ompteda_NAME_2">2nd KGL Brigade</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_Christian_von_Ompteda_Last">Ompteda</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_1_LtBtn">1st Light Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_2_LtBtn">2nd Light Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_5_Btn">5th Line Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_8_Btn">8th Line Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_G_Baring">Major Konrad Ludwig Georg Baring</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_G_Baring_NAME_2">2nd KGL Brigade</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_G_Baring_Last">Baring</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_2_LtBtn_1">1/2nd Light Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_2_LtBtn_2">2/2nd Light Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_2_LtBtn_3">3/2nd Light Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_1_LtBtn_B">1st Light Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_2_LtBtn_B">2nd Light Battalion KGL</Tag>
<Tag name="OOB_Br_KGL_5_Btn_B">5th Line Battalion KGL</Tag>
There may be some differences, but I am not sure...
Regards.

I think:
1st light (lijf) company of 2nd Regiment Light Infantry (2e Regiment Lichte Infanterie)

KGL stands for Kings German Legion, not sure why the same unit name appears several times.

Hi 52ndOx:

So "1" means 1st light (lijf) company and "2e" means 2e Regiment Lichte infanterie...what about "I" in the middle?

1 is 1st company
l means a light company (not a grenadier)
2e means 2nd regiment

Sorry, i'm not an expert, sure someone else will help you.

Is a tag used in the first scenario where a unit has been split at company level; is 1st company, first battalion (is the roman numeral I), 2nd regiment

English translation
Company B is probably a reserve company. There were a lot of reserves in the Napoleonic era that I used to supplement the troops, not to put them all into the line of fire.
Of course, that's just my guess. Many companies during the civil war were named ABC, and chamberlain's Maine company had other branches. In the Napoleonic period it seemed that the third battalion was a reserve battalion, and the fourth battalion, if any, would be drawn from the previous battalions
