KGL placement in full allied battle

In the full Allied battle for WL, the King's German Legion troops (green jackets) start within musket range of several French artillery batteries (in front of La Haye Sainte). Is this intentional, and if so, does it reflect the historical situation?

Given the fact that the KGL begin in this position in the French Full battle scenario, and the corps scenario"Count D'Erlon's Attack" as well, its probably safe to say that its intentional. Whether its historically accurate or not I couldnt say. Either way, when playing as the allies the first move I make is to gather the KGL up and move them all into La Haye Sainte. Safer place to start.
