In my opinion the single most important mod for Scourge of War Waterloo is the Grog Toolbar. It enhances the interface by a factor of a hundred.

A close 2nd would be the excellent Les Cent Jours mod which looks at the fighting along the Souffel River 10 days after the Battle of Waterloo between the French and the Austrians. 6 scenarios covering everything from the initial attack of the Hessians to the full battle covered from both sides.

Well, I don't think any other game can check the realism boxes like Scourge of War can. The headquarters in the saddle options (HITS for short) with couriers makes the game part real time strategy, part roleplaying, but uniquely apart from either.greetings darkrob. your youtube vids have been my first port of call! thanks for the reply. i just tried napoleon total war..that was a mistake. hence my looking into this game. im looking for as close to an accurate napoleonic experience as is possible given the limits of software so any help is appreciated.
While it's not my preferred way to play, I have done a few videos showcasing this most realistic way to play.
