A Thank you

In my English class we just finished a TV Documentary called "Dear America: Letters from Vietnam" which consisted solely of stock footage along with letters written during the conflict being read by actors to the tune of perfectly toned music. I'm not much for emotions, but some of them had me glued to the screen, speechless.

I already knew about the horrible home-comings the United States gave to returning soldiers and so as I watched the documentary, it only strengthened my resolve to try and understand a conflict fought almost years before I was born. So I would like to express my thanks to any and all veterans on this forum who fought in Vietnam, or any war for that matter. God Bless you.

I agree, every service member has my thanks and respect for what they do.

Mine to. I don't think they get enough thank you's. Veteran's Day should be a more prominent holiday.
