Avatars

Quick question about avatars: Can we add our own? If so, how does one go about doing that? What size need they be?
I have an Elmo 2nd Manassas avatar I made and would like to use it if possible. If not, I understand and will keep Fido as my forum representative. There is a family resemblance after all :laugh:
UPDATE: Seems my security software was blocking certain scripts on the page where I can upload my avatar. I can now see the upload button. Sorry to have bothered everyone. :whistle:
