Re: Changing the angle of the camera?
Yes! Thank you very much. I guess I was being confused by the new on screen toolbar.

Changing the angle of the camera?
<t>So, I took advantage of the steam sale and bought Waterloo. So far I have enjoyed it. But I am very familiar with TC2M and somewhat familiar with Gettysburg. In those games I have the ability to change the angle of the camera to where I am looking down on units more than out at them. Does that ma...

Re: So this place is still kicking?
<t>That sounds like a blast Scott! You've always been very pro-active at running those sims. <br/> <br/> I got to hike through Harper's Ferry on the Anniversery of Antietam. They had quite a few reenactors out then. I also made a stop at Gettysburg, which was a joy as always. Up in Maine I actually ...

<t>Hey Scott! <br/> <br/> Yeah, I hiked finished up my thru Hike of the AT in November. It was truely incredible. I even got a chance to stop by several Civil War historical sites on the trip as well. <br/> <br/> I stopped in at the TC2M forums about two weeks ago and saw the signs of shut down. I'm...

Re: So this place is still kicking?
Thanks! I just bought the 150th Anniversary Edition, and played a couple tutorials to remind myself of the game, and then beat Buford's scenario. It was a blast! It feels like I just started playing TC2M again.

So this place is still kicking?
<t>I'm not sure who is really active anymore from the old TC2M forums, but on a whim I logged on to see what has been happening, and man have things changed! I wouldn't have guessed that Napoleonic battles would have been in the running. Looking through some of the forums has me reminiscing old time...

Re: The Civil War and Slavery
<r>Whenever I talk about causes of the Civil War I use the analogy of a table. The Flat, tableish part would be the cause, that I call sectionalism. To prop this table up there are four legs, the first Being Economics, the second being Slavery, the third is Societal differences and the last is polit...

Re: Could someone tell me why?
<r>I think our military is also over-stretched. I mean we still are in Korea; don't we still have bases in Germany? I know it seems kind of "inhumane" but I would rather have men and women in American uniforms back home instead of fighting another country's war. A fairly hand off approach to war. <b...
