Re: KS Mod Images

<r>A map update soon to be released with the next version of the KS Mod. This is the Gettysburg Pickett-Pettigrew-Trimble 2.5mi map but edited to depict Portugal (or Spain):<br/> <br/> Slideshow of the action at Villa Fouca (fought 30-07-2017). I played as Col. von Lowe commanding a brigade of KGL.<...

Re: Gettysburg 3Days - New Ground

Chickamauga and Shiloh have both been released as free add-ons by the community, a Chattanooga map as well - you should stick around, lots still happening here.

Re: Gettysburg 3Days - New Ground

Yes, game is still going. Norb released the map editor tools with the latest SDK so more people are map modding now. A bunch of us Napoleonic fans are doing map changes for Waterloo - converting Gettysburg/ACW maps to look European. Our group has about 4 done with 2 or 3 more in the works.

Re: Trouble with Bridges

<r>Thanks, I thought that would help but the frames shown in LStudio are nowhere near where the collision points are. Here's one of the bridges in question. The frame is shown to be within the dimensions of the model itself but the actual collision point is well beyond it, out where the red line is....

Re: Trouble with Bridges

<t>Thanks LP. I'll look again more closely at the WL Maps.<br/> <br/> I think the numbers needed change if you change the axes of the bridge model, or push it down into the ground surface - I have been successful with some bridges on another map but when copying those values over to the same bridges...

Trouble with Bridges

<r>Hi Guys<br/> <br/> I am seriously struggling with getting the physics settings correct for bridges. The collision radius sometimes seems to work in a reverse way to what is intuitive - that is <I><s></s>increasing<e></e></I> the value <I><s></s>reduces<e></e></I> the distance at whi...

Re: War of 1812...... Any interest?

Great idea. I'm surprised no-one has proposed this before. I would suggest though you base this mod on Waterloo rather than Gettysburg. If you can get your head around C++ to work in the .dll file the newer game's modding possibilities are almost endless.

Re: LODs

<t>Great news.<br/> <br/> A friend of mine noticed there is a section at the bottom of the .ini files of the 5 early Gettysburg maps which is not found in any other map:<br/> <br/> [MapPerf]<br/> LOD1=20<br/> LOD2=50<br/> LOD3=75<br/> LOD4=100<br/> <br/> I remmed out the 4 LOD lines and this fixed t...

Re: LODs

<t>Done that already. There is no difference:<br/> <br/> 1) 8920<br/> <br/> 2) 9948<br/> <br/> 3) 0<br/> <br/> 4) 0<br/> <br/> These values seem common to all the Gettysburg 2.5 mile maps which is one I am converting (PPT). I've tried changing the values which changes the LOD draw distance correctly...
