bfrusa and Kerflumoxed,
We had a big discussion about the size and shape of Union colors about a year ago.

You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

From what I have seen in the new game, the Corps and Divisional flage are spectacular! Easy to tell that someone(s) did their homework! Congratulations to all involved!!! :woohoo: (Whoops, how did that Rebel Yell happen? :S )
Didn't see that discussion, John! But, from what I have seen, I think both the Federal and Confederate colors are just fine! I particularly like to see the Southern state colors as well.bfrusa and Kerflumoxed,

I really like the idea of having the brigade flags included. That will make identifying troops on the field more realistic. However, now I've got to study my flags so I know what I'm looking at. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if NSD is holding back some surprises for us. I'm sure they don't want to give away all the goodies before the game is released.Amish John wrote:Didn't see that discussion, John! Might I suggest a little "Cheat Sheet" be used? Determine what Corps and Divisions were at GB and dig out the correct flags from a computer search (might start here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_C ... rps_Badges). A little "cut & paste" should produce a visual aid (sounds better than Cheat Sheet) that is preserved in a lamination would simplify the identity problem!Kerflumoxed wrote:I really like the idea of having the brigade flags included. Re:Flags?
Even better, try this: Go to http://books.google.com/ and search for 'battle flags army potomac'. This should pull up the book we used as our source.
You can download the pdf file and look through it whenever you want.
