2 Helicopters Crashed in Afghanistan

In total 14 Americans were killed today in Afghanistan due to the crashes. About thirty more were wounded. It's sad to think the wars only come up in the media when body bags are needed.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.

sad to hear, there is a major nato offensive going off soon I hear



I was actually suppose to deploy to afghanistan, but I hosed up my knee... got a week permission, went to the US embassy in paris and begged an extra passport and back in the motherland till sunday. It is actually a little disappointing not to go however.
