As far as I was concerned it was a perfect MP game. The crashing wasn't due to the MP portion of the game but to the scenario itself which has been fixed so it is playable. As for people dropping out, it has to do with their connection to the game not the MP itself. Are many variables to how strong your connection to a MP game are. Does your service providers router hiccup and cause you to loose connection, was there a surge somewhere that send trash along with your data packets that drops you?hmm.. Norb is tweeting about perfect multiplayer sessions and you're saying they eventually crash or people drop out.
Sounds like there's still some work to do in MP!
Also, does the game notify you that a player has left. Personally I'd be a bit annoyed to discover I'd been playing against AI without notice.
Anyway please keep up the good work y'all
cheers Chris
There are stars in a vertical line along the right edge of your screen that are 2 different colors that let you know that you are connected and how many others are that will tell you if you are playing against the AI or not, but I get so immersed in the games themselves that I usually totally missed them disappearing plus the AI is strong enough that it will beat you senseless if you let it.
