I'll signup for a printed Manual right now, if you want to start a list of potential customers for the manual, count me in, I don't care about the price.I just want to bug you with a pant load of more questions!

Yes I too would pay for a printed colorful manual (even an all black n white one). I enjoy this combat engine more than any other including Total Wars as it just feels like a real battle and not some kiddy click fest. So, I'll chip in all the support I can and help rub it in the nose of those at The Wargamer who bad mouth you every chance they get. Buying the manual separate is fine or boxed doesn't matter because it's rare these days to get a quality product that lasts for years and years in play value. I still play your origional Bull Run as well (seems the confederates are a bit stronger in that one in open play).
BTW The Wargamer suks nowadays. :) They still talkin bout you Norb. Same ole fools and retards like Son of Montfort and Jarhead and most especially Gusington.

Hello.

Long time admirer of TC games, sometime lurker in this forum.

I am very excited about the eminent release of this game. Great news !!.

I also would buy a printed manual. A box with goodies would also be a great choice (collector's edition, even :woohoo: ) - it could be a choice at time of buying download version - buying just the plain dowload version or pre-buying also a boxed one coming in the future.

Any plans to have pre-orders ?

There is no pre-order plans just because I'm anal about it. I won't have people pay for something that doesn't exist. So until the gold release is in my hands, I won't activate the store. That is one of the advantages of doing this on side. We may open the store a little before we release the demo, just so that people that are supporting our effort get a chance to play it first. Then you would just have to download the game from the email link.

We really appreciate everyone's kind words and I am confident that you'll love the game. Mostly because the entire team is people that liked the game and they've all given it a thumbs up :)

If we do a boxed set, it would not be for a while and it would be nothing we could offer for sale now.

Speaking ob "anal" (I think my picture is included in the Funk & Wagnall Dictionary), do I understand correctly that when I purchased the game,
1. I will receive an activation code and "receive" the game on the net?
2. Then, I download the game to my computer and always have it available on that computer?
3. When a patch is available, or some type of upgrade, the same code will me to access the new information/product?
4. When the new "info" is available, will there be a simplified process to download to the new game? (I.E. Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, Step 4, etc. and, "lo & behold" the new information is loaded into the game! Boy, the simpler the better!!!)

Thanks

Pre-order... My ears perked up  .

It seems that this process is mighty confusing, so maybe there will be a video tutorial done by norb and posted on youtube to help us all with downloading the game! B)
