I know your bust'n your Butt to get things finalized...
BUT...
You posted player issues of being dropped with slow computers.

1) Is that a Slow Connect Speed or HIGH PING.
2) Is it an old P-III/P-IV Processer.
3) Is it low Memory.
4) Is it Video Card.

So im listing my Computer Spec's--- Everyone else do the same

Cable Connect - Usually Great Ping
AMD Athlon 64 4000+
2 Gigs Memory
Nvidia Gforce 7800GT 256 Mem

Well Norb is trying to fix that issue (if he hasn't already). So it's not necessary for everyone to post your specs. :)

It's the framerate of the computer. Not the network speed. It is not really our issue as far as I can tell. It is something in the RakNet threads that pull messages from the socket. I am working with the guys there trying to get them what they need to fix the issue. I am very happy that we found this, one of our guys has a very slow computer and it has been causing us testing issues. We couldn't figure out why it was running well before, but not now. I think it was RebBugler that pointed out that it was running great with the slow box. So I started running tests at home and sure enough, with a very slow box on a lan it was dying after 8 minutes. So I worked on it, got it to 43-55 minutes. But it still eventually dies. So I'm trying to see if there is some advice from RakNet on how to fix this.

Here's the url to my conversation over there if you are interested:

Still, might be a good idea for folks to start posting their specs so someone can start organizing and grouping categories for play, BECAUSE, MP play will run only as fast as the slowest member participating. You may be getting 30 FPS, but if someone is only getting 5 FPS (minimum for decent play), that is what you will experience. This may cause some angst towards those with lower specs.

Once the game is released this will be easier because everyone will see their own frame rates and can report so, using one scenario as a set standard. But, with all the eager beavers here, might as well get a head start with grouping the speed demons down through and to the plodding along'ers.

Probably start with three groupings...fast, medium and slow...or, just list them in an estimated order. Sure, it will be guesstimated, but it will be a start. Besides, what else have you guys got to do?

Ok I'll play
Cable connection 10mps generally 57 ping
AMD AthlonII quad core 2.6
4gigs DDR3 ram
64 bit Win 7
ATI 4650 PCIe video card w/ 1gig ram on board.

This rig runs Rise of flight fine so SOW should not be a problem!

Not sure what you all mean by this connection thingy, so if i have this right my broadband speed/download speed is about 512kb's.

My PC.

Duel Core 4600 2.6ghz'z
Nvidia Extreme 260 GTX leadtek 894 memory
4gb of mem

That's it.

If I'm reading your spec right your speeds are far far faster than my own, but you have to remember i live on the moors in South West England, where men are men and the sheep duck for cover on a Saturday night  in fact if you've ever read the novel or seen the film " The Hound of the Baskervilles" ( Sherlock Holmes)....that derelict house buried in the mist on the moors where the hound lives...that's my house, that's where they filmed it, still haven't got a roof on

The other thing to remember is this is the UK we've only just managed to have toilets built inside houses here instead of walking across the old cobblestones in the middle of the night for a waz...with candle of course. be sympathetic guys please.

I myself have a new laptop

Intel Quad Core i7 Q 720 up to 2.8 Ghz
Windows 7
6GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M (1GB)

As far as internet speeds...sitting out on my back porch, using wireless, speedtest.net has me clocked at 20.11Mb/s download and 3.47 Mb/s upload

I think I'm ready for this game, if you know anything about pc performance benchmarking games..this thing even runs Crysis smoothly, not that I'm bragging or anything :)
