More Napoleoinic pics

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

what battle are you creating here, Gunfreak?
7th Hussars were quite famous... - not like the Iron or the Stonewall Brigade but still...

Right now I'm not creating a spesific battle, just working off an army builder.

Later on, when I'm done with this army builder project, I'll create part of the battle of möckern, prussians vs french.

The reason I did the 7th hussars was the movie The duellists, which one of the charaters is from that regiment, I'll also do the 3rd hussars also from the movie

I want to do a game where the models actually look like these guys. Someone must have done something like that already. SOW Minatures!
I remember my big brother used to have a game with large retagular platform mounted figures, you assembled them and arranged the individual soldiers in a regiment style thing anyway you wished. The game was so large only one room in the house could lay out the map for it, game with a long stick thing to move the pieces around the map as well. I'm assuming you can easily make something like that. It had Octangular shaped boxes on the map similar to Civil War General/Panzer General. But it was kind of a fantasy game with orcs vs humans. Shouldn't be that hard, I thinking since figures like that are purchaseable anyone can make a game just like that one I discribed they'd just need to make a map and rules. hehe
