Thanks norb, clearing the roads makes good sense. However, the problem I saw last while designing and playing my Culp's Hill scenario, all the Generals were within the road boundaries...the couriers went beyond the radius I purposely designed, out to the roads...to die, whereas, the receiving General was an easy shot close by. The VP was secured, yet I couldn't give orders to hold...then, the only option is to go around and TC all commanders, not a good option here, when simple orders to hold should suffice.

Not asking for a lot here, just make them smarter than a ammo wagon...least they avoid getting 'gotchaed'.:S Ammo wagons are slow and fairly smart, presently couriers are fast and...
