Problems with CTDs in Confederate division scenarios
Problems with CTDs in Confederate division scenarios
Have been playing with all settings to "Best". No problems with any tutorials, including the Corps tutorial. No problems with Union brigade scenarios (including Culp's Hill, Devil's Den, Hertz Woods, etc.).
Have had problems with the McPherson's Ridge scenario and the Oak Hill Scenario in which you are a confederate division commander. Game freezes about ten minutes into match, then CTDs. When it goes to desktop (announcing a runtime error), the game shuts down, but I have to use Task Manager to kill all SOWGB processes. Here is the log file:

Have had problems with the McPherson's Ridge scenario and the Oak Hill Scenario in which you are a confederate division commander. Game freezes about ten minutes into match, then CTDs. When it goes to desktop (announcing a runtime error), the game shuts down, but I have to use Task Manager to kill all SOWGB processes. Here is the log file:

Yes, that does seem to help when I lower all settings somewhat. I find it odd, though, that the crashes seem limited to the Confederate scenarios rather than both Union and confederate. As I said, I had no problems with the tutorials on divisions and corps.

I have a similar problem, and I have lowered my settings all the way down to the lowest just to see if that was the problem. Whenever I am playing as any Confederate division, it freezes. I don't know how to get these loading/unloading data, but I don't think it'd be much different than this one.

I have had the freezing problem using Union troops, but it was with one, or both, of the first day scenarios and with uniforms set to best (did not freeze with uniforms set to high).

I haven't tried all the possible different scenarios or sandbox modes yet, if that is what you are asking, but of the ones I have, it is consistent. I'll go back into the game and try it on the rest of the division scenarios I haven't tried.

I believe that we have this fixed. It's a crash that can occur anywhere. We'll push out the patch as soon as possible.
