clarification

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

clarification

Post by bafonetto »

sorry for the grammar ... :S

I own two computers:
1. Desktop: 7 OS Win x64, intel i7, 6GB RAM, ATI RADEON 4870 512MB, Realtek Audio, 4 x64 ESET NOD32 ver 4 (32bit)
2. macbookpro notebook: Win 7 32bit Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, GeForce 8600 GTM, Realtek Audio, ESET NOD32 ver 4 (x64):)

in both computers I have to play with the options Set up to 'medium' and the uniforms 'LOW'. :( Precise with STEAM game STALKER Call of Pripyat, Call of Duty (all versions), Fallout 3, Total War Napoleon at maximum resolution and settings and I never had any problem with FPS! ;)

I would like to ask a few questions:
1. with which hardware the game was Projects / tested? (Is my curiosity) B)
2. if I forgot the notebook in the car I can not play at home because I must first deactivate it ... annoying! I suggest to turn the game in a different way ...
3. I tried the beta patch, I have not noticed anything new, perhaps I stumbled across that there are always bugs in early versions ... :woohoo:
4.could expect a more fluid? Too many sprites (Sounds easy, right?) :silly:
5.complessivamente the game is valid.
great job

I suppose you are italian too. Well, you have got to be. Welcome! :)

3. The beta patch is only addressing a few critical bugs.
4. I run it quite smoothly even in the corps tutorial and I have a mid-low rig (but I play with very restricted camera view). Check the .ini file and edit the lines on antialiasing and antisotropic. These two settings (along with others) do not appear in the in-game options panel. I expect something about the % of sprites displayed in each regiment. That will be a colossal help for users like you and I. On the other hand, the most consuming graph setting is the uniform detail. Try lowering that and if it fails, set everything to minimum and then slide up gradually until you reach a good compromise.
