This is about the best game purchase I have made.

Hi.

I guess I can't say this enough. Maybe boring too most, but this is about the best game since 2006 that I've purchased. The more I play it (fixes installed), the more it fits into my daily routine...which is like not being able to eat only one big mac.

Addictive. I'm out there doing dishes, or making dinner, and I'm thinking why I failed in a scenario, maybe I should try this, maybe try holding this road, maybe send for support.

This reminds me when in 1982 I was playing Pirate's Cove (also known as Pirate Adventure) by Scott Adams on a local stores Vic 20. I'd be up all night in bed trying to figure out what to try next.

Thanks Norb for a great game.

For all of those who wish to get all of the text adventures by Scott Adams, go here.

Cheers...

If you think the game is great mikesla then i do not know how you will describe it after you have played multiplayer - awesome is not a strong enough word.

One warning, if you do enlist in an outfit like The Armchair Generals then you kiss goodbye to sleep.

Recommend you sign up soon Sir.

Pirate's Cove (also known as Pirate Adventure) by Scott Adams .... Ah, the painful memories. A classic game that I recently introduced to my grandsons.

They think SOWG is GREAT! Norb, fantastic game!

Text Adventures is a great starting point for children. Painful is an understatement, but great fun. Lost allot of sleep over those text adventures, but back then I could afford it.

At the end of this month I'm house sitting for brother, and he has hi-speed, I'll be able to play multi-player then. Until then I have to read about the fun you good people are having.

Cheers, and see you online in 2 weeks.

Thanks Norb. With a game this good, it's very difficult to find any reason not to purchase, and play this game.

Also, just to mention. I burned the downloaded copy (demo/full), and created a box, put some of the best screen shots as it's cover, and it's placed on my bookshelve with the rest of my great titles.

Excellent....

Hi.

I own a old polaroid. I'm not into photography much, so I never felt I needed to upgrade.

Cheers...

Just wanted to mention. I have a good friend who has pirated a lot of games, mainly big title ones (Spore, Empire, the like). I spoke to him today about this game, and he's waiting to find a job to buy it. I didn't even have to say "look, don't pirate this one," he had no intention whatsoever of doing so in the first place.

That's the kind of loyalty this series and take command created. Really a hell of an achievement.
