This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.
I assume these are extractred to the sscenario file in the SDK. Are they playable under the Bugle & Flag MOD which is my prefered way to play?
Cool...made my day.
If the scenarios have included files, gamescreens for specific scenario splashscreens for example, then they should go above the B&F mod. Otherwise, any order will do.
Just saw Matt's post, stand alone scenarios won't show up in Modifications, just User Scenarios, so no concern. Just have Bugles and Flags activated.
I have been playing Bugles & Flags and have successfully downloaded Little Powells 5 new scenarios, but the B&F flags, etc. do not show up in the new files. Any suggestions as to how incorporate B&F into the new ones?
Thanks

Yes they can be extracted that way, or you can just put them straight in Work\Scenarios

Matt,
you should rename the scenarios to GBCH01-GBCH05 to have them listed right below/above other GB scenarios, just in case there will be Champion Hill, Chantilly, Chattanooga or Chickamauga scenarios in the future.
One question, how do I know if the update has downloaded/fixed the 5 new scenarios?
J
I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you wondering if the patch has fixed these scenario's? Any changes made in the patch will effect these.
That's what I am wondering!

Make sure the B&F mod is checked, yellow box, User Scenarios should then display mod. One sure fire way to make them show up is put them in the Scenarios folder in the mod...Mods/Bugles and Flags 01/Scenarios
Bugles & Flags Gettysburg - Toolbar, Flags, Scenarios, and More...
I vote impossible. Besides getting killed by the AI, the other reason I say this is because the CSA varient of the same scenario is possibly the easiest to gain a major victory on.

Ok figured out what the problem was on Maryland Vs Maryland. I intended to give Lockwood more support, but there was a type-o with the randoms. It's still possible to get a hard random though.. So be vigilant..

All five scenario's updated with correct names. Please delete the old scenario's and replace with these.
Edit: Also a minor update for GBCH01. Removed Anderson's Division as they didn't participate in the battle and was just taking up resources.
Thanks Matt!
It is really great that folks like yourself, RebBugler and others have taken the time to make these "MODS" in easy-to-use format for the players like me. I recall the problems I had when we switched from flintlocks to percussion cap...and never did get quite the handled on the Maynard Primer system!
BTW, did you happen to look at the games I sent with no "orders star?"
Thanks
