I don't think that a lot of pirating is done by evil people. I think it's just folks not really thinking about what they are doing. I've worked with many people that pirate movies and games. I'm always the little guilt trip when I find out Usually, when people discover that they are hurting a small indie team, they stop. But if it's against a big company, they usually continue.
