70 Soldiers on 3" Square

Post by Gunfreak »

These are 70 French Adler Napoleoinc Figs, on a 3" square base

There are 3 battalions on there all of which are from 20 to 24 figs stong, pluss some single soldiers that are strageling behind their battalions.
Each base represent a brigade of sevral thousand soldiers.
I need 112 bases to do Borodino, 71 infantry brigades and 41 cav, pluss an unknown number of artillery bases.

Since the base is so big, you get to make them into a tiny diorama, I have a small water puddle there, some rocks, earth and grass.

I spent at least $1000.00 on my young son's 54mm plastic playsets, just to keep him from my lead dating back to the early 1950s, (some eariler), just letting you know I appreciate what you have there! ;)

I think there are games for miniatures for civil war and napoleonics out there but i forgot the names...

Anyway these miniatures are lovely but it takes a 5mpixel picture to really enjoy of the details, especially when the figures are tiny.

There are more games(rules) for miniatures then anybody could mention.

Each period has alteast a 100 diffrent rules, big periods like Napoleincs, ACW and WW2 has probebly close to a thousand diffrent rules, most of which are home made, but there are sevral 100 published ones to.

I my self own alteast two dozen diffrent rule books.
