that's my opinion as well; for all that development/production time to create a cool, flashy animation that will only be viewed once, if lucky - no one really sits around watching those movies when all they want to do is load a saved game - it seems to be a lot of wasted effort for little return...Personally i dont care about a intro movie in a game. As long as i get my proper "fix" from the contents of the game.

Couldn't agree more. Total waist of time IMO....and a hindrance as well. I spend more time deleting it from the game file than watching it usually.
Re:NSD War3D II Images
Indeed i completely agree also
of all the games i have owned i only watch the movie's file once
then it becomes annoying i usely either delete it or add the fame movie_Off thing lol

You mean the movie file at the beginning of the game like the start of TC2M? The little dinosaur skeleton?

No Hancock......estabu was talking about the 1st game....the 1st one by MMG...Take Command: Bull Run. It had a really nice little "movie" intro.
Makes no difference to me if there's one or not......but I did like the intro for CWBR.

Oh. So instead of the little dino thingy, there was a clip of playing?
Or did you watch a movie while the game loaded?

Re:NSD War3D II Images
It was just an animated video intro that showed the yanks lining up behind behind a fence as the rebs advanced on them......then it panned up into an overview of the scene and then the game title came on.....then it was off to the game screen.
Seems like a long time ago now......but it's only been 3 years.
