Released Mod Index
Re:Released Mod Index
Here's my next (incredibly n00b question) -- now that I have the mods, and I click play, on, say, #3. I go into the game and activate the textured minimaps and #3 mod. I can now play with the OOB from, say, Antietam, but have to choose a Gettysburg based map to play on, correct?
Just want to make sure I understand how this all works. I presume that at some point we might be able to make maps of, say, Antietam or Chickamaugua or Shiloh, no?
Steve

Re:Released Mod Index
The mods right now are just OOB mods and the textured minimaps mod. SOWGB doesn't allow map modding, and from what I gather it won't for a while.

if it works, after it downloads (after the progress bar fills up and disappears) it should start the install wizard automatically.

Re:Released Mod Index
Garnier, in the future, is this going to be the only way to download the sow game patches?
If so that stinks. I use a download manager, and forcing me to use your mod updater for a 100 meg patch is allot to ask. If my connection get's interrupted I have to start from scratch, which is something I'm not willing to accept, period.
If your mod updater is a additional way to download the patches, fine, great addition to the sow util community.
Please clarify your position on this.

Re:Released Mod Index
It's up to norb how he distributes the patches. The updater is an extra thing that I did. All the updater does is download the patch from the link norb posted, so if he didn't post a public link the updater wouldn't have it either.
