I'm assuming this game is powered by Power Render 6? If that is true, It is making me very eager to wait for the day when this game is fully modable (which will take some time, I presume :cheer: )

Although the in-game graphics appear to me to be very similar, the difference between PR5 and PR6 appears to be drastic.

Can anyone confirm that this uses PR6? I think it was only stated briefly by Norb



"I can't take all the credit for the MMG map process. It's all built off of PowerRender technology. The file format is all PR. I added the foliage, the grayscale, map csv file, but it's all based off of what PR already had working. Even in SowGB, it's all off of PR6. I changed a ton, but it's their base design."

Yes it is, and no it is not!

That makes a lot sense, doesn’t it?

Imagine that Norb buys a ford car , and completely changes the wiring, engine, console and the transmission.

Now you go and get the specifications of the car that Norb brought, but it has very little to do with the modified vehicle that he is now driving.

The Power Render Program was sold for around one hundred dollars, and it is completely programmable.

So, Norb has used his programming knowledge to transform that particular version into a completely different version, but there will always be some inter-locking parts that will stay uniformed.

You can take some of the files from the previous version, and look at, or change some the things with this version, but the map making aspect will still be locked!

If you look at the games directory, it will show that some of the files from TC2M, and this game are the same, while others are different.

But, if I remember correctly, the PR6 program is not being sold anymore, and the creator has moved on to other things.

Basically, it will be a waste of time trying to break into this particular game to mod the maps, believe me I have tried, and have probably crashed the game several hundred times.

I have now changed tactics, and have started devoting my time to trying to understand the various data files , this is a lot more practical!
