S,
Took me awhile to get that too. Good deal. I have roughly the same uniform settup, stock yankees with Iron Brigade/Regulars thrown in and stock Rebs with slouch hats and Blanket rolls thrown in. Changed the Generals too. Got tired of Marse Robert and George Meade commanding everything on their respective sides. Most I can do w/out lagging the game.

I’m moving towards putting all of my attention into the TGA file, I really do need the names of all of these locations to be displayed somewhere.
Without the names, it just doesn’t feel like I’m fighting to achieve a real objective. The biggest problem that I’m going to run into is that these maps are so accurate; I’m confused about what the names of most of the terrain should be!
BTW : saunders1953 – I’m glad tat you figured out what the problem was!

I've read many eyewitness accounts stating that not two rebels were dressed alike.
Hey Thanks – coming from two of the top modders that means a lot!I second that; that's some of the best-looking rebel infantry I’ve seen.

I just might take you up on that offer. I think I'll go ahead and take a crack at it first. Looks like there's some good info in this thread and I'll see what I can come up with.Little Powell – if you ever get a little bit of free time, I can send you all of the relevant files, and a brief explanation about what I did. Unitmodel.csv – Columns E, F, G
Unitglobal.csv – Columns G, H, I, J, K, L
Drills.csv – assign each sprite a uniform from the unitglobal columns – this will prevent the game from assigning a lot of the same uniforms to one regiment.

There is the problem. The full mix of uniforms will only show up at the 'Best' setting. At the lower settings fewer and eventually only two lower resolution uniforms are used.. . .
DaV,
Yes. Am aware of the unitglobal changes as you mention. For some reason I can't get them to conform to what I want, but again, I am running on the lowest possible settings. . . .

Jim,
Roger that. Had figured out the settings issue was the cause at some point. Just wanted to get a couple of different uniforms on each side while waiting to get hold of a (much) better comp. Managed that.
