Can't read text

After returning to this game after some time away I have discovered that all the in-game text has gone askew. It happens in the menus at the front end as well as in the game when playing.

A bit hard to explain, but it's like the text is there, and sometimes you can read it, but more often than not it is too fuzzy to read. It's like it is too big for the size it's meant to fit in to. chnaging resolution hasn't worked.

I have tried reinstalling but that didn't work. I don't think I haven changed anything recently that should effect it, but than what can it be?

Any ideas would be appreciated.
